Leigh A. McLaughlin was born in Brighton, Massachusetts on September 28, 1962. Ms. McLaughlin graduated in 1984 from the University of Vermont with a degree in Political Science. After college, Ms. McLaughlin continued on to Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1987. Prior to joining Gilman, McLaughlin & Hanrahan, Ms. McLaughlin was an Assistant District Attorney for the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. In the District Attorney's Office, Ms. McLaughlin prosecuted various misdemeanors and felonies in both the bench and jury sessions. Since joining the firm's litigation practice in February, 1990, Ms. McLaughlin has concentrated her practice on general commercial litigation including landlord tenant law, discrimination law and domestic relations law. Ms. McLaughlin is admitted to practice in the courts of Massachusetts and the United States District Court of Massachusetts. Ms. McLaughlin currently resides in Belmont, Massachusetts.
