WILLIAM F. YORK: GMH has been part of the Boston community of legal and business for close to 40 years.
ROBERT E. MCLAUGHLIN JR.: Gilman, McLaughlin & Hanrahan broke off from a law firm that was started by my grandfather. And in 1975, Arthur Gilman, Robert McLaughlin, and David Hanerhan started the firm.
ROBERT E. MCLAUGHLIN SR.: We pride ourselves in being a full-service firm, which means we practice in almost all areas of the law. Our roots were originally just a litigation firm. But it quickly sprouted roots in the transactional work of all kinds.
ROBERT E. MCLAUGHLIN JR.: We primarily focus in litigation, which would include commercial litigation, family law, also complex valuation issues. We do real estate work. And again, primarily in that area would be development work and complex financing.
WILLIAM F. YORK: One of the strengths of our firm I believe is our reputation that other firms have cases. Gilman, McLaughlin & Hanrahan has clients. That speaks to the commitment we have to our clients and a commitment we have each and every day that we come to practice law.
